In A Quiet Place 2, there is a major film mistake involving the use of a boat motor. In one scene, the characters start a boat motor to escape from the creatures, but the motor is shown to be a modern, gasoline-powered engine. This is a mistake because in the post-apocalyptic world of the film, it is unlikely that gasoline would still be readily available, and the characters would have had to find an alternative power source for the motor. This oversight breaks the immersion of the audience and detracts from the realism of the film's setting. **
