UWC COSTA RICA
- The college offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
- Most courses are offered in English as well as Spanish, making the College the first fully bilingual UWC.
- Students participate in activities and service programmes which involve working closely with the local community in the incomparable natural environment of Costa Rica.
- Our scholarship programme allows us to financially support the students based on their socio economic needs.
- Given its historic connection with SOS Children’s Villages, UWCCR aims to ensure that students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds are admitted to the school each year
- Given its geographical location, the College also seeks to provide places for students from all Latin American countries as well as from the Caribbean.
- In addition, close to half the student population will come from other regions in the world
- The College is built on three pillars: Conflict Transformation, Multiculturalism and Environment
