United World College Costa Rica Foundation is a non-profit organization with 157 students representing 68 different countries.

Our institution was recognized by UNESCO as a Non Governmental Organization that promotes the culture of peace. Its purpose is to train young leaders, 17-19 years of age, based on respect and several other values that focus on our three pillars: Conflict transformation, Sustainability, and Diversity.

United World College Costa Rica is part of the United World Colleges' international movement . UWC's honorary members are Queen Noor of Jordan and Nelson Mandela.
