The host family programme, which is currently being developed, started with the idea that students spend time with Costa Rican or foreign families in the country. Both students and host families benefit from an exchange of customs, ideas and cultures. Together host families and students learn how to share and understand experiences, a process that contributes to mutual growth. The programme also allows students to have a source of support outside of the college as well as developing values that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
